Our mission and purpose is clearly stated but we don't want to forget the real reason we were brought together, the children. The message that we, the Drill Team, wish to bring to the children is the message of creating and instilling the core values of "Pride, Honor, and Courage." "Pride" in ones' self, community and country; show "Honor" to our history and those who protect and serve our way of life, and to have "Courage" to face adversity and "to do the right thing." It is the goal of the Palm Tree Santas Drill Team take these values to the children in schools, church groups, events, anywhere that the children will open their hearts and minds and become better citizens. When faced with adversity or a tough situation, whether it be an illness, abuse, peer pressure, etc., we want to have each child pause a moment and ask the question "What would Santa or his elves do?" and then have the pride, honor and courage to do what is right. It is not too ambitious of a goal. As Santas we have the power and ability to enter those hearts and make a difference.
